L'Associazione Italiana Calciatori con Stefano Sartori ha partecipato, in qualità di componente FIFPro, alla due giorni di Roma organizzata dalla WPA (World Player Association). 

La World Players Association è la principale voce dei giocatori organizzati nella governance dello sport mondiale. Riunisce 85.000 atleti professionisti attraverso più di 100 associazioni di giocatori in oltre 60 paesi. 

FIFPro è una delle principali associazioni che ne fanno parte insieme, tra le altre, a NFLPA (National Football League Players Association), NHLPA (National Football League Players Association), IRPA (International Rugby Players’ Association), NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) e MLBPA (Major League Baseball Players Association).

La mission della WPA è migliorare le condizioni di lavoro degli atleti a livello globale. Sono centrali la dignità del giocatore e l’umanità dello sport.

The Italian Footballers’ Association, represented by Stefano Sartori, took part as a FIFPro member in the two-day event in Rome organized by the WPA (World Players Association).
